We track the Cowboys win total so far in 2020 and whether they are on pace for their preseason odds.

Week 9 update: The Cowboys lost their fourth straight game to drop to 2-7. The 24-19 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers means they have clinched the under on their preseason win total (9.5).

Ahead of the 2020 NFL season, DraftKings Sportsbook set projected win totals for each NFL team. Some teams are well on their way to exceeding these win totals, outperforming the bar oddsmakers set for them prior to Week 1. Other teams need a bit more help to get there.

The Dallas Cowboys 2020 story is half written and if it’s to be judged by their preseason win total over-under, they will have failed miserably. Of course, losing your starting quarterback in Week 5 doesn’t help, but they were only 1-3 going into that game, as the defense had and has completely tanked this season.

There is little hope for this year, but there are plenty of pieces for the future, especially on offense. Looking forward to their final eight games, there are some easy matchups, but not as easy as their opponent’s have, as the Cowboys haven’t shown they can compete with the worst in the league without Dak Prescott.
