John Brown sits out Wednesday practice in Week 9

The Buffalo Bills host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9, and they’ll be looking to have a full slate of pass catchers available in what could turn into a shootout. Wide receiver John Brown did not practice on Wednesday due to a knee injury, but it’s too soon to say if that’s going to be a problem on Sunday.

Brown was a full participant all last week and played on Sunday. A DNP is certainly not ideal, but at this point in the year, Wednesday DNPs are not surprising. For Brown, we’ll be keeping an eye out for his Thursday status. If he still is a DNP, then it becomes a bigger concern.

Stefon Diggs remains the clear No. 1 in Buffalo, while Cole Beasley remains a decent PPR option. Brown is somewhere in the middle with solid upside, but a worse floor than Diggs. The Seahawks defense has given up the most fantasy points to the wide receiver position this season, so this could be a valuable opportunity for all three.
