The Bachelorette Season 16 Episode 4 Predictions

Oh hey, it’s your Basic Batch here for another week of predictions. When I’m not nervously staring at the TV, doom-scrolling and calling everyone I know in Nevada, I’m thinking about Dale.

Just kidding. I’m absolutely not thinking about Dale, but I am thinking about Clare thinking about Dale and what that means for the remaining guys.

This week’s predictions were tough to make and that’s because we know so little thanks to the Covid that forced the show into a super secret squirrel quarantine bubble. How will her time on the show end? I don’t think anyone, even Reality Steve knows for sure, but Taysia’s Fast Times-esqe intro last week left Bachelor Nation hopeful, excited, and a little nervous.

Kind of like the election, but better. Taysia has my vote for sure.

What will be higher between episode 4 and Thursday Night Football?

My money is on Aaron Rodgers. Never mind that his brother was a standout on The Bachelorette and is oh-so-cute with fiancée JoJo, I never bet against Aaron. Plus, the state of Wisconsin showed up to the polls this week, and Aaron will show up for them.

How many different outfits will Chris Harrison wear?

• 2-3
• 4+

I’m going to go with an even 3. Why you ask? Well we know from the promos there are issues at the cocktail party, so I’d guess he’s in some sort of going-out attire there and he’s got to talk to the guys if Clare does decide to quit. So that’s at least two, and I’ll throw one more dressy outfit in to greet Tayshia if her storyline starts tonight.

How many times will Clare mention Dale by name?

• Over 9.5
• Under 9.5

Answer: A. Lot. I’m actually not sure she can complete a sentence without saying the word Dale. Over 9.5. Fight me.

How many people between Clare and the contestants will leave the resort?

• 0
• 1-2
• 3+

Clare and Dale. Dale and Claire. If I never hear those two names ever aga— I’m sorry. Where was I? I do believe that those two are the only two to leave. The guys would be stupid to leave at this point in the process because at this point they’re A) sick of Clare B) super-sick of Dale and C) excited to turn this car around with a new bachelorette.

Will Clare refer to Dale as her fiancée again?

• Yes
• No

So, about that. There’s been some rumors in Bachelor Nation that she was referring to her ex-fiancé (the one the show wants you to forget) Benoit and not Dale. I’m not sure I buy that but it did seem like a slip either way so I’m thinking she doesn’t make that one again.

How many date cards will be given out?

Unpopular opinion but I’m going to say ZERO! She is so hung up on Dale that I don’t think she’s going to want to talk to anyone else, prompting her exit from the show.

Will Clare kiss anyone else besides Dale?

• Yes
• No

Unless you count blowing air kisses to Chris Harrison and crew as she rides off into the real-world sunset with Dale, None. I don’t think there’s any love lost between Clare and production so I don’t think they’re exactly begging her to stay.

How many rose ceremonies will there be?

• Under 0.5

I think she has one more and then she and Dale make a break for it. Gross? Yes. Fantastic TV? Also yes.

Will Chris Harrison say “blew up the bachelorette?”

• Yes
• No

We see it in the previews and there’s no reason to think that will be edited out. It’s good TV.

Will Tayshia make her arrival?

• Yes
• No

Yes. Make that, hells yes. Our savior arrives tonight. Let’s all hope she has a great season.
