49ers-Packers goes over for the bad beat

The 49ers got blown out, but they had a gift for over bettors.

The Green Bay Packers blew out the San Francisco 49ers, winning by a final score of 34-17. The game was never really close as the 49ers were shorthanded on both sides of the ball. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams picked apart the 49ers defense, and Nick Mullens struggled with poor protection against the Packers defense.

And yet, the game finished on an exciting note. Jerick McKinnon ran in a one-yard score for the 49ers final points and it put the game over the point total for most bettors. DraftKings Sportsbook actually opened the point total at 51 last Sunday, but it was quickly bet down. By game day it was sitting at 48.5.

The 49ers weren’t going to be expected not to try, but it still stings if you bet the under. The score was 34-10 and Mullens was sacked at the Packers 44 to set up a 2nd and 19. Only, a Packers defender lowered his helmet and was flagged for it. The 49ers got 15 yards and new life to get that final score.

Condolences to those of you who had the under. Well, unless you teased it up!
