What to do with Devin Singletary, Zack Moss in Week 9 fantasy football

We go over Devin Singletary, Zack Moss’ fantasy football outlook ahead of the Bills Week 9 matchup against the Seahawks.

Game day update: The Bills will be looking to advantage of the Seahawks’ pass defense on Sunday. However, if they get into the red zone, Zack Moss will have his opportunities. And they will still find a way to get Devin Singletary his touches too. This season, Seattle’s defense has given up nine rushing touchdowns. ESPN projects 8.0 fantasy points for Singletary and 6.5 for Moss.

The Buffalo Bills’ two-man running back committee has been frustrating fantasy owners for most of the season. However, both Devin Singletary and Zack Moss were productive last week against the Patriots, and perhaps more important and slightly confusing the matter, Moss saw his role expand. So what about this week against the Seahawks?

Fantasy Football analysis: Bills RBs Devin Singletary, Zack Moss

Moss carried the ball a season-high 14 times last week, rushing for 81 yards and two touchdowns. As the scores would indicate, he saw a lot of work in the red zone too. Lest you think that signals Moss taking over in Buffalo, well, Singletary had 14 carries as well, rushing for 86 yards, a season high for him.

The Seahawks haven’t been gashed by running backs the same way their pass defense has, but they’re not impervious either. Last week, the 49ers scored two rushing touchdowns against them. And back in Week 5, Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison combined for 177 yards and a touchdown against Seattle.

There’s justification for playing both Singletary and Moss. But Moss has the edge at this point thanks to his scoring potential.
