Game day update: The Lions rank in the middle of the pack for fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. Neither defense in this game is particularly good, so a shootout is a very real possibility. ESPN projects Adam Thielen to have 15.6 points and Justin Jefferson to have 13.5 points in PPR leagues.
The Minnesota Vikings will look to dismantle another NFC North opponent this week when they host the Detroit Lions. Last week against the Packers, it was all Dalvin Cook, leaving their top two wide receivers, Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson, without much to do. That should change this week.
Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings WRs Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson
Thielen had his worst game of the season last week against Green Bay; though, it wasn’t really his fault, he just didn’t have anything to do. He finished with three catches on four targets for 27 yards. His four-game scoring streak also got snapped in that one. Jefferson’s stat line looks pretty much the same from that game, except he had 26 yards.
Thielen is averaging more than 60 yards per game this season, and he’s got seven touchdowns so far. Jefferson had 166 yards and two scores in the game before last week’s, his third outing in four games with more than 100 yards.
Both are solid starting options against the Lions this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
