What to do with Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf in Week 9 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlooks of Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf in his first game returning from injury as the Seahawks face the Bills in Week 9.

Is Diontae Johnson or Tyler Lockett a better play in week 9?

Game day update: The Bills have given up the sixth fewest fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season, but they haven’t face a passing attack like that of the Seahawks. ESPN projects Tyler Lockett to have 19.9 points, DK Metcalf to have 15.8, and David Moore to have 7.2 in PPR leagues. Metcalf and Lockett remain must starts.

With Russell Wilson producing MVP numbers and incredible fantasy stats, it means his wide receivers are cleaning up too. That’s made Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, the Seattle Seahawks’ top two receivers, two of the most valuable players at their positions.

Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks WRs Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf

Metcalf is coming off an incredible game last week against the 49ers. In that one, he caught 12 passes on 15 targets while rolling up 161 yards and two touchdowns. It was the sixth time, in seven games, that he’s had more than 90 yards. Those two scores brought Metcalf to a total of seven on the season.

With Metcalf doing all the damage last week, Lockett had a quiet game, catching four passes for just 33 yards. But the week before that, the script was flipped when he had 200 yards and three touchdowns. Metcalf’s been a more consistent producer, but both players are capable of stealing the show any week.

The Bills defense hasn’t had to deal with a passing offense quite like this one recently. But they’re far from invulnerable.
