After a week off to rest and recuperate, the Arizona Cardinals will return to action this week when they host the red hot Miami Dolphins. One of the questions for fantasy football heading into this matchup is whether or not the Cardinals receivers can stay productive themselves.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals WRs DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald
There might not have been a better offseason move than Arizona bringing in Hopkins. He’s been a beast all season, far and away QB Kyler Murray’s favorite option with 73 targets. Hopkins leads the league with 703 receiving yards, even with a bye last week. He’s had at least 100 in three of his seven games so far too.
Kirk shook off a slow start to the season, and has been fairly productive lately. He caught five passes on eight targets for 37 yards and a touchdown in his last outing, his second game with two scores.
That hasn’t left much work for Fitzgerald. He has a role to play in this offense, but there’s not enough volume for the legendary veteran to have much fantasy impact. His best game of the season was in Week 7 when he had 62 yards.
The Dolphins have given up big points to receivers. Last week, they let the Rams’ top two receivers roll up 195 yards and a touchdown. They’ve allowed three receivers to break the 100-yard mark in a game, so things are looking good for Hopkins and Kirk.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start DeAndre Hopkins and Christian Kirk. Sit Larry Fitzgerald.
