The Falcons are the greatest gift that the NFL has to offer to fantasy quarterbacks and Drew Lock is the lucky recipient of that gift this weekend. Lock will take all the help he can get, as he is currently the 36th ranked fantasy quarterback (in a 32-team league) in terms of points per game. This means that multiple back-up quarterbacks have outperformed Lock this season. Will he be worth a start against the friendliest secondary in the NFL? We break down the fantasy analysis below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos QB Drew Lock
Drew Lock is averaging 9.6 points per game and has thrown four passing touchdowns this season, three of which came in Week 8. Perhaps Lock is finding his groove just in time, as he prepares to face a Falcons defense that has allowed 20 passing touchdowns this season and an average of 29.3 points to opposing fantasy quarterbacks. The match-up is ideal, but Drew Lock has been highly unreliable as a fantasy starter this season. The Broncos offense is underwhelming as a whole, leading to limited upside despite the matchup. With that being said, there are four teams on bye this week, and Lock may be a good fill in for your fantasy squad in a pinch. Lock can be started this week as a QB2 or a bye week fill in.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
