Sunday’s Season Finale 500 at Phoenix Raceway will bring an end to the NASCAR CUP Series in 2020. The championship race is set to begin at a3:00 p.m. ET and DraftKings has DFS contests available for the race. Let’s go over some ideal picks and sleepers for the race.

Best Bets

Kevin Harvick ($11,100)

Harvick is the betting favorite and has five top five finishes in his last seven races at Phoenix. He hasn’t failed to crack the top 10 at the venue since 2017 and has the lowest average finishing position (9th) among active drivers. He has a good chance to tally his 10th career win at Phoenix given his recent success and is worth paying up for.

Kyle Busch ($9,600)

Busch is extremely affordable for a driver with who hasn’t missed the top 10 at Phoenix since 2016. While he’s struggled in the Cup Series this year he’s only two races removed from his first win of the season. He’s won three stages at Phoenix in his last seven Cup Series starts there.

Sleepers

Ryan Newman ($6,500)

Newman is one of seven active drivers with at least two career wins at Phoenix. He hasn’t driven very well as of late but has plenty of experience to draw on with 35 career starts at this track. If he’s able to conjure up some of his old mojo he could be a key variance play.

Aric Almirola ($7,800)

If you need an affordable play with top 10 upside, Almirola is your guy. He’s the only driver with at least 20 top 10 finishes under $8,000 and has been above average at Phoenix in recent years. His starting position (10th) is ideal for a competitive race. It’s hard to find a safer mid-tier pick than Almirola.
