Tom Brady has wasted no time settling into his new team this year, making the jump from the Patriots to the Bucs this past offseason. Now with possibly the best pick of receivers in the entire league, Brady has the potential to have a huge showing in Week 9 as the Bucs host the Saints.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs QB Tom Brady

Tampa Bay is riding a 3-game winning streak after edging out the Giants last week when the Bucs staged a 4th-quarter comeback. Brady threw 28-for-40 with 279 yards and 2 touchdowns in a game that didn’t see him turn out huge numbers, but it was a decent week for fantasy owners with him in their lineup. With throwing options like Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, and Rob Gronkowski, he’s got plenty of avenues in the air especially with the potential return of Chris Godwin this week, who sat out last week with an injury. Turning toward Week 9, Brady will go up against a Saints team who hold the 5th-easiest defense for opposing QBs in the league, so he should put up some respectable numbers to make him a logical mid-level QB1.
