Michael Thomas is on the Saints final injury report for Week 9. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game status: Thomas is ACTIVE for Week 9.

1 p.m. update: Thomas is expected to play, but Jay Glazer is reporting he’ll play fewer snaps than usual.

Game day update: Thomas is expected to play on Sunday Night Football barring any kind of pre-game setback, per Ian Rapoport.

For the first time since the opening week of the season, the New Orleans Saints will have Michael Thomas in the lineup. He is still listed as questionable on the official injury report with the ankle injury suffered in Week 1 and a bum hamstring he dealt with since then. But he got in some practice time this week, and is ready to get back in action.

Fantasy impact: Michael Thomas (ankle, hamstring)

Thomas will be a welcome site to fantasy owners who drafted him with an early pick way back in September. He’s coming off two consecutive nine-touchdown seasons, and a total of 1,725 receiving yards last year. Drew Brees’ favorite receiver, you can expect the two to pick up right where they left off. His return could impact the overall target share for the rest of the team, especially Emmanuel Sanders.

He is a must-start player in fantasy. Get him into your lineups with confidence.
