How to handle T.Y. Hilton’s injury in Week 9 fantasy football

T.Y. Hilton is on the Colts’ final injury report for Week 9. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game status: Hilton is INACTIVE for Week 9.

The Indianapolis Colts are unlikely to have wide receiver T.Y. Hilton on the field this week against the Baltimore Ravens. Hilton is dealing with a groin injury he suffered early in last week’s game. He did not practice at all this week.

Fantasy impact: T.Y. Hilton (groin)

Hilton has done little for fantasy teams this season. His best game was a 69-yard effort against the Browns back in Week 5, and that wasn’t so nice. He still hasn’t found the end zone either.

Marcus Johnson stepped in for Hilton last week, catching two passes for 39 yards. He has been dealing with an injury of his own, a knee, but he was a full go in practice on Friday. Michael Pittman could also see more work without Hilton. Still, with the Colts, wide receivers don’t get a lot of action; the running backs and tight ends have been the preferred target options in this offense.
