The race to the bottom gets interesting this week with both New York teams playing very winnable games. The Jets will host the Patriots, themselves in the running for a top pick with just two wins this season. It’s a winnable game, even for the Jets, and if they pull it off, they could be going back and forth with their roommate, the Giants, for the rest of the season. The Giants probably have a better chance of winning—they’re 2.5-point underdogs to Washington.
The Jaguars-Texans game could flip the order for the third and fourth picks, though Houston is favored by a touchdown in that one. Dallas is a team to keep an eye on this week with a lopsided matchup against the Steelers. Another loss, and they could start inching higher up the draft order.
Here’s what the top six spots in the draft order look like so far this season. Strength of schedule is the first tiebreaker for teams with identical records. Hat tip to Tankathon for providing that. Each team’s Week 9 opponent is listed as well.
