UPDATE: David Johnson has been ruled out for the rest of the game due to a concussion. Duke Johnson has taken over as the team’s starting running back.

Houston Texans running back David Johnson is being evaluated for a concussion after taking a big hit against the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN’s Field Yates. He was nailed while trying to haul in a pass out of the backfield in the first quarter of the game. If Johnson can’t return, Duke Johnson could be set up to get a significant bump in snaps and touches as a versatile back capable of contributing on the ground and through the air.
