Update: Stafford is being evaluated for a concussion, per Dave Birkett.
Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford took a sack and then Chase Daniel came in for him in the third quarter. He got up slow with the help of his offensive lineman, and maybe the NFL’s concussion spotters had him leave the game, but on video, it is difficult to tell what the injury could have been. Stafford then was taken to the locker-room, per Kyle Meinke.
Stafford came into this game having not practiced due to Covid-19 protocol. He looked good early on, but two interceptions later and with a big deficit, he could be done for the day if there is any concern for his health.
