UPDATE: Steelers PR tweeted that Roethlisberger sustained a knee injury and is expected to return in the second half of the game.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting a tough fight from the Dallas Cowboys, and the degree of difficulty might be increasing. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger limped to the locker room with a little over a minute left in the second quarter after injuring his knee a few plays earlier.
The injury happened on a tough hit, but Roethlisberger stayed in on the drive and later through a touchdown pass to James Washington to cut Dallas’ lead to 13-6. Roethlisberger had completed 14 of 19 passes for 111 yards and a touchdown.
