The 2020 NBA Draft is set for November 18th after the longest season in League history. The order for the first and second round is set and we already know that the Minnesota Timberwolves will be selecting No. 1 overall after winning the NBA Draft Lottery back in August. Some of the top prospects who could be selected high in the draft include SG Anthony Edwards, G LaMelo Ball and C James Wiseman, among others.
The Nets entered last season with — at the very least — playoff hopes. They achieved that to a degree but did so without two All-Stars in Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. There’s much more optimism heading into 2020-21 with Kyrie and KD back with Steve Nash on the sideline. Brooklyn doesn’t have a pick until the second round at No. 55. That doesn’t really matter since the roster is built to win now.
Here, we’ll be going over all the draft picks for the Brooklyn Nets in the first and second rounds.
First Round: No. 17 (traded to ATL; MIN owns rights)
Second Round: No. 47 (traded to PHI; BOS owns rights), No. 55 (DEN’s second-round pick; BKN owns rights)
