Marquez Valdes-Scantling has underperformed for most of the season despite the Green Bay Packers having little talent at wide receiver but came into his own in Week 9 by putting together his best fantasy stat line of the year against the San Francisco 49ers. He could use the momentum he gained in Week 9 into Week 10.
MVS caught two passes for 53 yards and a score against the 49ers. It’s not realistic to believe he can make every catch a touchdown, but he should have plenty of space while teams scamper to figure out how to defend Davante Adams. Allen Lazard is looking to return from the IR soon but MVS is widely available in fantasy football leagues and could be a viable WR2 if Lazard isn’t back by Week 10. MVS is rostered in 10.1 percent of ESPN leagues and could be worth signing off the waiver wire in deeper leagues.
