The Kansas City Chiefs ground game should be back to full strength in Week 14 with word that running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. He dealt with an illness in Week 13 and while active vs. the Broncos, did not play due to losing weight from the stomach bug, per Andy Reid.
Edwards-Helaire is on track to return vs. the Miami Dolphins in Week 14, but remains a lower end fantasy football option as league playoffs get underway. He’s proven a better value in PPR than standard leagues, but his last two games since the Chiefs bye have been hit or miss. In Week 11, he had 77 total yards but scored two touchdowns. In Week 12, he had 39 total yards and no scores. He’s exceeded 100 total yards of offense in three games this season.
This week, the Chiefs face a solid Dolphins defense that ranks 12th in fantasy points allowed to running backs.
