The big story for the Cleveland Browns last week was the four-touchdown explosion from quarterback Baker Mayfield. However, it’s important to point out that Mayfield’s big day came largely because of the play action, with the opposing defense keyed in on the running backs. Nick Chubb had 80 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, adding another 26 yards on one catch. Kareem Hunt carried the ball 14 times for 33 yards and caught three passes for 24 yards.
Fantasy Football analysis: Browns RBs Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt
Chubb saw his three-game streak of 100-yard games come to an end last week, but his touchdown was his third in three games. Hunt’s production behind Chubb has been decent enough to keep him in the conversation as an RB3 or Flex play most weeks.
The Ravens have only given up four rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs this season. However, players have still managed to produce some acceptable fantasy numbers against them. Ezekiel Elliott had 77 yards last week, and in Week 10 and 11 both the Patriots and Titans had 100-yard rushers. Those two games are notable because, like the Browns, both lean on the play action. Chubb’s always an RB1, and that doesn’t change this week. I think you can fade Hunt here though.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Nick Chubb. Sit Kareem Hunt.
