Game day update: The Giant offense is so much better the more they run the ball, and they’ll be looking to Wayne Gallman to lead the way again this week against the Cardinals. He’s a solid fantasy play too, with ESPN predicting 13.28 points for him.
The most attractive fantasy football asset on the New York Giants roster for this week’s game against the Arizona Cardinals has to be running back Wayne Gallman. Since the start of November, he’s emerged as the team’s clear No. 1 option in the backfield, putting up a plethora of yards over the last two weeks and finding the end zone with regularity. He belongs in lineups this week.
Fantasy Football analysis: Giants RB Wayne Gallman
Gallman was the offensive MVP in beating the Seahawks last week, rushing for 135 yards on 16 carries. However, it was the first game in since Week 7 that he failed to find the end zone. The week before that, he had 94 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries, and he scored twice in the game before that.
The Cardinals have given up five rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs in their last three games, and two players have had more than 70 rushing yards in that same span. Gallman is a solid RB2 this week with some appeal as a low-end RB1.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Wayne Gallman.
