Game day update: The 49ers are looking for some offensive pop from their top two receivers this week against Washington. Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel combined for 168 yards and a touchdown last week, their first game together in more than a month. ESPN predicts 10.5 points for Aiyuk and 11.3 for Samuel.
The San Francisco 49ers are, undoubtedly, a better team when they have both Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel on the field together. Last week, against the Bills, was the first time that’s happened since Week 7. Headed into a game against the Washington Football Team this week, they’ll both bring some fantasy football value to lineups.
Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers WRs Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel
Aiyuk had 95 yards and a touchdown, catching five passes on nine targets last week. It was his first game since Week 10. Samuel also had nine targets last week, catching five of them for 73 yards. The week before that he had 133 yards.
While Washington can make life difficult for opposing passers, receivers are still having success against them. The Football Team has allowed one opposing receiver in each of their last four games to record 80 yards or more, and three of those four players also found the end zone.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Brandon Aiyuk at WR1 and Deebo Samuel at WR2 this week.
