Game day update: The Seahawks will look to get their struggling passing game moving again this week with a practice squad game against the Jets. It’s a golden opportunity for both D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, and both belong in your lineup. ESPN projects 18.4 points for Metcalf and 15.2 for Lockett.
The Seattle Seahawks have a golden opportunity to shake off last week’s upset loss to the Giants with a home game against the New York Jets this week. Their top two receivers, D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, always have some fantasy appeal, but this week there’s even more reason to have them in your lineup.
Fantasy Football analysis: Seahawks WRs D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett
Metcalf had five catches on eight targets for 80 yards last week. Lockett caught six passes on nine targets for 63 yards. Neither player has scored in their last two games, but with the Jets having given up three scores to opposing wide receivers in their last three games, they have a good chance to break that streak.
The Jets have allowed an opposing receiver to break 90 yards in each of their last six games. That puts Metcalf in line for a WR1 performance this week. Lockett’s numbers haven’t been as good as they were earlier in the season, but he still has appeal in fantasy lineups as a third receiver with some upside.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
