What to do with Matt Ryan in Week 14 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Matt Ryan ahead of the Falcons Week 14 matchup against the Chargers.

What to do with Matt Ryan? That’s a big question for the Atlanta Falcons moving forward, but for our purposes, we’re only concerned with their Week 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. We’re a long way from those three- and four-touchdown games that used to be a regular part of his boxscore, but Ryan has some usefulness in fantasy football this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons QB Matt Ryan

Ryan had a touchdown and 273 yards in a loss to the Saints last week, completing less than 50 percent of his passes. The week before that he threw two scores against the Raiders, but he failed to top 5 yards per attempt. It’s been a rough stretch for him.

But the Chargers present a nice chance for a bounce back. They gave up four touchdowns to the Patriots last week (two through the air), and even Joe Flacco had a pair of scores against this team back in Week 11. With his receivers healthy, Ryan shouldn’t have a problem getting at least a pair of scores here either, and he could definitely do more given the matchup.
