Kyler Murray is the second-ranked fantasy quarterback so far this season, averaging 25.7 points per game. Bill Belichick and the Patriots knocked him down a notch in Week 12 when they held him to just 7.9 fantasy points and he began building back in Week 13 against a tough Rams defense, when he scored 16.2 points. Can Murray continue his upward climb towards his season average in Week 14 when he faces off against the New York Giants? We break down the fantasy analysis below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray
Kyler Murray has scored 22 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing touchdowns so far this season, but has scored only three total touchdowns in the last two weeks. He is likely hungry for the success that he was so used to finding earlier in the season, and will have to try hard to find it against a Giants defense that has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks so far this season. Murray may have to look to get things done through the air, as the Giants are tough for QBs on the ground, allowing only one rushing touchdown to the position so far this season. The matchup may be far from ideal, but there is no situation where you are considering sitting Kyler Murray. Start him as a QB1 this week, just as you would any other week, but temper expectations with the tough matchup.
