The Kansas City Chiefs became the first team in the AFC to clinch a playoff spot with their narrow 22-16 win over the Denver Broncos. It was the Chiefs’ lowest team point total of the season, and the wide receivers suffered as a result. Will the WRs find a way to recover against the Miami Dolphins in Week 14?
Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs WRs Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins
After his historical game in Week 12, Tyreek Hill came back down to a normal level with 88 total yards and six catches. Sammy Watkins ended as the only other notable wide receiver in the Week 13 win, reeling in four passes for 35 yards. At this point in the season, it’s going to be extremely difficult to trust any receiving options other than Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce, who have both seen more than double the amount of targets of the next closest receiver. While Miami’s defense isn’t an easy nut to crack, Tyreek has the speed to blow by any defender, and the target volume to warrant weekly WR1 consideration.
