Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Brandon Allen left last week’s game, but he is going to be under center for the team’s Week 14 matchup. If you are considering Allen for fantasy purposes, let’s take a closer look.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bengals QB Brandon Allen
In his last time out, Allen exited with a chest injury in a 19-7 loss to the Miami Dolphins, and Ryan Finley came into the game. Before he left, Allen completed 11 of 19 passes for 153 yards with a touchdown and interception. The numbers are heavily skewed thanks to a 72-yard touchdown to Tyler Boyd in the first quarter. Other than that, Cincinnati wasn’t able to get a whole lot going offensively.
The Bengals will be matched up with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. In its last time out, Dallas gave up 107 yards and two touchdowns with Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson throwing just 17 passes in the team’s run-heavy offense.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Keep Allen on your bench because he’s nothing more than a quarterback No. 3 for fantasy purposes.
