What to do with Dalton Schultz in Week 14 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Dalton Schultz ahead of the Cowboys Week 14 matchup against the Bengals.

Dalton Schultz hauled in all four of his targets for 44 yards in Week 13 against the Ravens, marking the fifth game in a row in which he recorded four or more receptions. Schultz will look to keep his streak going in Week 14 when he faces a Bengals defense that has allowed the 5th most points to opposing fantasy tight ends so far this season. Does Dalton Schultz belong in starting lineups with this favorable matchup? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz

Dalton Schultz isn’t the type of fantasy tight end that is going to win the week for you. He also isn’t the type of tight end who will likely lose the week for you. He seems to just be consistently mediocre. Some fantasy owners may be in search of consistent mediocrity for a position that is tough to fill this year. If you are one of those mediocrity-seeking owners, Schultz may be just the guy for you. He is averaging 9.3 points and 5.8 targets per game and in a favorable matchup this weekend, he sneaks into TE1 territory. Start him as a decent floor player with upside.
