Over the last two weeks, the Baltimore Ravens’ young wide receivers have stepped up their games big time with their team fighting for a playoff spot. They will try to continue this upward trend on Monday night football against the Cleveland Browns.
Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens WRs Marquise Brown, Willie Snead, Miles Boykin
Earlier this week, second-year receiver Miles Boykin reached the end zone for only the second time this season. Boykin had one reception (three targets) for 38 yards against the Dallas Cowboys. While the stat line isn’t impressive, just seeing the former Notre Dame receiver score a touchdown is a nice change of scenery for the Ravens’ offense.
Along with Boykin, Marquise Brown scored his second touchdown in consecutive weeks, which were a part of his five receptions for 39 yards. The previous week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Brown recorded four receptions (eight targets) for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Both players did this without veteran wide receiver Wille Snead IV, who was just activated off the COVID-list on Thursday. Having Snead back should give Lamar Jackson another reliable option in a must-win game for Baltimore. This season, the 28-year-old wide receiver only has 28 receptions for 379 yards and three touchdowns.
With all that being said, the Ravens’ trio of wide receivers should have opportunities to make plays against a Browns’ defense that gives up a lot of yards. Cleveland is allowing 15 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers, which is the fourth-most in the NFL.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start — Marquise Brown as a WR3/FLEX
Sit — Miles Boykin and Wille Snead
