After missing the last two games due to COVID-19 testing protocols, the Baltimore Ravens will be getting back standout tight end Mark Andrews for Monday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns. What can we expect from him and should you start him? Let’s discuss it.

Fantasy Football analysis: Ravens TE Mark Andrews

Before Andrews landed on the COVID-19 list a couple of weeks ago, he put together two solid back-to-back performances. In Week 10 against the New England Patriots, the third-year tight end somehow had seven receptions (nine targets) for 61 yards in less than stellar weather conditions.

Then the next week against the Tennessee Titans, Andrews took advantage of the Titans’ average secondary, recording five receptions (seven targets) for 96 yards and a touchdown. It was the first time that Andrews scored a touchdown since Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This week, he’ll be facing another average secondary in the Browns that have been pretty generous towards tight ends. Through 13 weeks, Cleveland’s defense is giving up nine touchdowns and 10.7 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. Coincidentally, Andrews’ best fantasy performance this season was against the Browns in Week 1. He accumulated five receptions for 58 yards and two touchdowns, which equaled out 17.8 fantasy points.
