We go over the fantasy football outlook of Teddy Bridgewater ahead of the Panthers Week 14 matchup against the Broncos.

A COVID outbreak has hit the Carolina Panthers’ roster this week, but there is a silver lining. The team will have quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who should also get a little help from the expected return of Christian McCaffrey. And despite the potential for a couple receivers to miss this week’s game against the Broncos, Bridgewater is a decent streaming option in fantasy lineups.

Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater

Bridgewater struggled a bit in his last outing, a Week 12 game against the Vikings. He had one touchdown and one interception, throwing for 267 yards but failed to complete more than 53 percent of his throws.

The Broncos notably held Patrick Mahomes to just one passing touchdown last week in a game that was probably a little closer than the Chiefs would have liked. However, he still managed to throw for 318 yards and had two touchdowns called back on penalties. What makes Bridgewater a decent QB2 play this week is the return of McCaffrey, giving him a playmaker who can confuse defenses.
