Throughout this entire season, Detroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson has played like a top-10 tight end in fantasy football. Can we help his team defeat the Green Bay Packers on Sunday?
Fantasy Football analysis: Lions TE T.J. Hockenson
If you watch the Sunday morning fantasy football shows, you should be familiar with T.J. Hockenson and just how integral he is to the Lions’ offense. Hockenson has 52 receptions (77 targets) for 614 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games this season.
With Kenny Golladay sidelined, Hockenson has been looked upon as the Lions’ top receiving option and best offensive player. In Detroit’s last three games, he has 16 receptions (24 targets) for 241 yards. While those numbers are solid, fantasy football managers would like to see the second-year tight end find the end zone.
The last time Hockenson scored a touchdown was in Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts. Therefore, the next question to ask is can he break his touchdown drought on Sunday versus Green Bay?
It is going to be tough after they held him scoreless back in Week 2. This season, the Packers’ defense has only gave up three touchdowns and 5.9 fantasy points per to opposing tight ends.
