The Jacksonville Jaguars are 0-2 with Mike Glennon as the starting quarterback, though the losses weren’t caused by a lack of effort from the 30-year-old thrower. In the 25-27 defeat to the Browns, Glennon tossed two touchdowns for 235 yards. In the 24-27 loss to the Vikings, he converted one passing TD with 280 yards. Does that level of aggressiveness qualify Glennon for a starting spot on your roster?
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars QB Mike Glennon
The Jaguars enter Week 14 as seven-point underdogs against their division rivals. The Titans are in a perfect position to bounce back after a high-scoring loss to the Browns, and they are expected to control the pace of this game. That should mean a green light for Mike Glennon, as the Jaguars will aim to keep up with the Titans. Their last matchup in Week 2, albeit with Gardner Minshew behind center, ended in a 33-30 victory for Tennessee. With the second-highest game total of the week (53 points), Glennon could find himself in a shootout, or at least in a scenario where he is forced to throw the ball frequently. Although, it will be hard to rely on game script for a backup QB who hasn’t shown too much promise.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Only start Mike Glennon as a low-end QB2.
