What to do with Justin Herbert in Week 14 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Justin Herbert ahead of the Chargers Week 14 matchup against the Falcons.

There are many proper words to describe the Los Angeles Chargers’ performance in Week 13. Many improper words, too, that aren’t fit for publication. But fantasy owners who are fretting over Justin Herbert’s output last week should repeat two specific words to themselves heading into Sunday’s game versus the Atlanta Falcons: move on.

Fantasy Football analysis: Chargers QB Justin Herbert

Herbert was confused, flustered and just plain bad against the Patriots in a 45-0 home loss last week. It was the worst game of Rookie of the Year candidate’s season, by far. He completed not even half of his 53 passes, threw two interceptions, and compiled just 209 yards, his second-fewest this season. But one terrible game can not erase 10 previous games in which Herbert ranged from serviceable to stupendous. Next on the docket are the Atlanta Falcons, the team that has allowed the most DraftKings points to quarterbacks. They are among the top five in most passing touchdowns and most passing yards allowed, and they rank sixth in most completions allowed.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Herbert effectively ended many fantasy seasons last week. For those owners who survived and made their league’s playoffs with him, he’ll make up for it this Sunday. He should be a favored DraftKings pick at $6,800.
