What to do with Miles Sanders, Boston Scott in Week 14 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Miles Sanders, Boston Scott ahead of the Eagles Week 14 matchup against the Saints.

These are tough times for the Philadelphia Eagles running backs. But perhaps things will improve a bit now that Jalen Hurts is taking over the starting quarterback duties. The ground game might very well improve with Hurts’ running ability, but I’m afraid the fantasy outlook for Miles Sanders and Boston Scott is still pretty bleak this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles RBs Miles Sanders, Boston Scott

Sanders had 10 carries for 31 yards last week, but the Eagles didn’t use him much in a one-sided loss to the Packers. Scott had just two carries, and both players failed to catch three targets (two for Scott, one for Sanders) in that one. Another thing that’s going to hurt their production potential is the wave of injuries to the offensive line. All the read options in the world can only do so much to overcome an issue like that.

It doesn’t help their outlook that the Saints haven’t allowed a rushing touchdown to an opposing running back since Week 4, and only two players have had more than 50 rushing yards against them in their last seven games.

Sanders is still worth a dice roll as a Flex or RB3, but you should probably seek out better options first.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Miles Sanders at Flex or RB3. Sit Boston Scott.
