You can’t read too much into the performances of the New York Giants top three wide receivers from last week’s game with Colt McCoy making a spot start for the injured Daniel Jones. It’s a good thing too, because of the three, Golden Tate led the way with a mere 30 yards. Jones is back in action this week against the Cardinals, and while that doesn’t significantly improve the fantasy outlook for these three players, it does at least make it marginally better.
Fantasy Football analysis: Giants WRs Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, Golden Tate
Shepard is the best of the bunch and has been the most productive with Jones under center. The problem this week is that he’s likely to be seeing a lot of Patrick Peterson. That gives Slayton some upside as a WR3 this week, since he has shown that he’s capable of producing when Shepard isn’t. Tate can probably be ignored.
Don’t expect much in the way of scoring either. Nobody in this trio has recorded a touchdown since Week 8.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton as WR3. Sit Golden Tate.
