You pretty much have to start Derrick Henry as an RB1 in fantasy football every week. Unfortunately, that means having to deal with a few games where he produces something less than the totals we expect from the position, like last week. Against the Browns, Henry had just 60 rushing yards, a season-low, on 15 attempts — also a season-low. But this week should be better with a game against the Jaguars on tap.
Fantasy Football analysis: Titans RB Derrick Henry
Henry’s outing last week snapped a three-game streak with more than 100 rushing yards in each outing. He also scored four times during that same stretch. In fact, Henry’s had triple-digit yardage in seven of his 12 games so far this season, along with 12 touchdowns.
The last time he faced the Jags, back in Week 2, he had 84 yards on 25 carries. But Jacksonville’s run defense has gotten worse since then. They’ve allowed running backs to pile up 100+ yards in both of their last two games. Expect big things this week.
