Game status: Frank Gore is ACTIVE for Week 14.
Game day update: Frank Gore is expected to play in Week 14 as long as he experiences no concussion symptoms Sunday before the game, per Ian Rapoport.
The New York Jets tagged running back Frank Gore with a questionable designation on this week’s official injury report. The ageless wonder has been dealing with a concussion that he suffered in last week’s game against the Raiders. Gore was a full participant at practice on Friday, a good sign, and head coach Adam Gase said this week that he expects to have Gore in uniform for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.
Fantasy impact: Frank Gore (concussion)
Gore’s availability is a drag on Ty Johnson’s fantasy value. For some reason, Gase insists on giving the 37-year-old running back a significant share of reps out of the backfield for a winless team that should be looking ahead to 2021. Johnson had 104 yards and a touchdown with the ground game all to himself last week. With Gore in action against Seattle, the fantasy value of both players is limited, especially with the Jets double-digit underdogs to the Seahawks.
