UPDATE: Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa sounded concerned for Gesicki after the game. He told reporters that the whole team is “praying for him” and added “you hate to see that for someone like him,” per ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe.
Miami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki landed hard on his neck and shoulder after making a catch against the Kansas Ciity Chiefs. He was in obvious pain and was favoring his right arm as he walked to the locker room. Gesicki had five receptions for 65 yards and two touchdowns before being forced from the game in the fourth quarter. Adam Shaheen should take over as the lead tight end while he is out.
