The Miami Dolphins might’ve found themselves another offensive playmaker in rookie wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr. on Sunday. Lynn Bowden Jr. was a jack of all trades coming out of the University of Kentucky, playing multiple positions, which led to him being drafted in the third round by the Las Vegas Raiders.
However, Bowden Jr. was surprisingly traded this summer to the Dolphins for linebacker Raekwon McMillan. Heading into Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs, Bowden Jr. only had five reception for 40 yards. But on Sunday, he surpassed his season total with a team-leading seven receptions (nine targets) for 82 yards. Miami needed all of that production as they lost both No. 1 WR Devante Parker and No. 1 TE Mike Gesecki to injuries, and were without Myles Gaskin and Matt Breida due to Covid-19.
It is unknown what their statuses are heading into Week 15, but the Dolphins need someone to fill in that WR2 spot next to Parker. Bowden Jr. is currently available in 99 percent of Yahoo fantasy leagues.
