Tuesday update: The Chargers had a second straight walkthrough practice on Tuesday and provided an estimated report. Hunter Henry was upgraded from DNP to limited. While the team did not get in a full practice, it is still a plus to see him upgraded.
The Los Angeles Chargers held their first practice session of Week 15, and the short week meant we got an estimated report. The team met but did not have a formal practice, and so they provided an estimate of how people would have participated had their been an actual practice.
There were a lot of DNPs on the Monday practice report, including tight end Hunter Henry. There is no indication from Sunday’s game against the Falcons that Henry suffered an in-game injury, but he’s listed as a DNP due to hip. Henry has played in every game this year, and did not appear on recent injury reports, suggesting this is a new injury.
Teams generally do not practice on the Monday before Thursday Night Football, and so the Tuesday practice can provide more insight into injured players. We’ll see what Tuesday brings for Henry, with Stephen Anderson and Donald Parham otherwise getting work in his place.
The Chargers are scheduled to face the Raiders on Thursday.
