Friday update: The Bucs removed all three special teamers from the Covid-19 IR list and they’re good to go for Sunday.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made some news on Tuesday, placing kicker Ryan Succop, punter Bradley Pinion, and long snapper Zach Triner on the Covid-19 IR list. The team did not specify if the moves were due to positive tests or as high-risk close contacts.

The Bucs travel to face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, which is five days from now. If the players are high-risk close contacts, they would potentially be eligible to return on Sunday if they test negative for Covid-19 between now and then. If they are on the list due to testing positive for Covid-19, they have to miss a minimum of ten days, and thus would not be eligible for Sunday’s game.

Succop is currently the sixth-ranked kicker in fantasy football. There are plenty of options to replace him if needed, but he’s been solidly productive. He has four double digit games, but his strong ranking comes from the Bucs regularly finding the end zone. He’s kicked one field goal in each of the Bucs last three games, but he has had at least three extra point attempts each of the past four weeks.
