Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay have both been practicing in Week 15, but will be listed as questionable headed into Saturday’s game.

Thursday update: Vic Fangio said Melvin Gordon and Phillip Lindsay will both be listed as questionable on the final injury report for Saturday, per Ryan O’Halloran.

Wednesday update: Melvin Gordon was upgraded to limited on Wednesday. He is banged up, but this has him trending in the right direction to play on Saturday.

The Denver Broncos’ running backs appear to be a little banged up ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Melvin Gordon appeared on the Tuesday injury report with a shoulder injury and was listed as not practicing.

The team did not practice but instead provided an estimated report. Had they practiced, Gordon would not have taken part. He’s led the Broncos’ rushing attack all season so his participation in practice ahead of the weekend could be something to monitor.

Gordon played fewer snaps than Philip Lindsay against the Carolina Panthers in Week 14 but led Denver in carries for a third straight week. He’s eclipsed 10 carries in five straight games and could be dangerous against a Bills team that’s given up 16 rushing yards on the year. Gordon exploded for 131 rushing yards against the Kansas City Chiefs and could be in for another big performance if he’s healthy enough to play. Lindsay was limited with a hip injury on Tuesday so Royce freeman could come into play on Saturday.
