Friday injury report
Antonio Gibson is doubtful and won’t play this week against Seattle. Peyton Barber and J.D. McKissic will split work.
Duke Johnson and C.J. Prosise are questionable to face the Colts. David Johnson will be the lead back and could have a heavy workload if both are out.
Chase Edmonds s questionable to play against the Eagles. If he can’t go, Kenyan Drake should see a bump in usage.
Raheem Mostert will play and has a good matchup against Dallas, but he will share work with Jeff Wilson.
James Conner was limited after not practicing Thursday. He has a chance to play the Bengals on Monday night.
Ronald Jones is unlikely to play, as he is on the Covid-19 list and had pins put into his injured pinkie. Leonard Fournette will get the start against the Falcons.
Mike Davis will start for Christian McCaffrey against the Packers.
Out: N/A
Doubtful: Christian McCaffrey (thigh), Antonio Gibson (toe)
Questionable: Ezekiel Elliott (calf), Chase Edmonds (ankle), Salvon Ahmed (shoulder), Damien Harris (ankle), James White (foot), Alexander Mattison (illness), Phillip Lindsay (hip), Melvin Gordon (shoulder)
Thursday injury report
Christian McCaffrey is doubtful and won’t play this Saturday against the Packers.
Antonio Gibson hasn’t practiced yet and appears destined to miss this week against the Seahawks.
Ronald Jones is on the Covid-19 list and has a pinkie injury. Leonard Fournette would get the lead role against the Falcons if Jones can’t go.
Raheem Mostert got in a limited practice and appears on track to play against the Cowboys.
David Johnson returned from the Covid list and Duke Johnson didn’t practice on Thursday. There’s a chance Johnson gets the full set of snaps this week against the Colts.
James Conner didn’t practice with a quad injury. If he can’t go on Monday night, Benny Snell would get the start.
DNP: Christian McCaffrey (thigh), Duke Johnson Jr. (neck), Chase Edmonds (ankle), Ezekiel Elliott (calf), Antonio Gibson (toe), James Conner (quad)
Limited: Melvin Gordon (shoulder), Phillip Lindsay (hip), Alexander Mattison (illness), Derrick Henry (not injury related), James Robinson (knee), Damien Harris (ankle), Salvon Ahmed (shoulder), Raheem Mostert (ankle)
Full: Adrian Peterson (forearm), David Johnson (not injury related)
Wednesday injury report
Antonio Gibson remains out. Coach Rivera says he is progressing well, but it appears his status for this week is in doubt.
David Johnson returned from the Covid-19 list and should play this week, but will be a tough fantasy play against the Colts.
Austin Ekeler is questionable to play on Thursday night due to a quad injury, but did get two limited practices in. He appears like he’ll go in a nice matchup.
Ronald Jones has been put on the Covid-19 list and already was dealing with a pinkie injury. Leonard Fournette looks likely to lead the way against the Falcons this week.
Raheem Mostert has an ankle injury and didn’t practice on Wednesday. If he can’t go, Jeff Wilson should get the lead role in a good matchup with Dallas.
Christian McCaffrey didn’t practice and is unlikely to play against the Packers. Fire up Mike Davis again.
DNP: Antonio Gibson (toe), Christian McCaffrey (thigh), Alexander Mattison (illness), Chase Edmonds (ankle), Ezekiel Elliott (calf), Ronald Jones (finger, COVID-IR)
Limited: Melvin Gordon (shoulder), Phillip Lindsay (hip), RB Adrian Peterson (forearm), James Robinson (knee), Salvon Ahmed (shoulder),
Full: N/A
Week 14 was the first week of the fantasy playoffs for many of us and that means it’s December and that’s King Henry’s sweet spot. Henry went off for 215 rushing yards and two touchdowns in yet another demolishing of the Jacksonville Jaguars. And he gets the Lions this week!
Rookie Jonathan Taylor might also be taking your fantasy playoffs by storm right now, as he’s heating up at the right time. He’s coming off his best two games of the season and now he gets a weak Texans defense at home.
David Montgomery has had a great schedule of late, but he’s taken advantage by putting up three straight 24-points or more fantasy outings. Finishing the fantasy playoffs against the Vikings and Jaguars should keep him as a must play.
Injury news
James Conner has a quad injury. His status is unknown for this week’s matchup with the Bengals at the moment, but Benny Snell would take the lead if Conner can’t go.
Ronald Jones has surgery on his finger. His status will depend on how well he can handle the ball with the injury. If he can’t go, we’ll likely see Leonard Fournette and LeSean
McCoy take the lead against the Falcons.
Raheem Mostert is getting an MRI on his ankle. His status is unknown, but if he can’t go, Jeff Wilson would likely take the lead in a great matchup with the Cowboys.
The Panthers are hopeful Christian McCaffrey can return this week against the Packers. His practice status will guide us this week.

J.D. McKissic, Washington
It didn’t work out last week, but as long as Antonio Gibson is out, I like McKissic in PPR leagues. This week they get a Seahawks defense that has allowed the second most receptions, sixth most yards and and seventh-most touchdowns to running backs through the air.
Jeff Wilson, 49ers
The Cowboys run defense has been awful this season and now they take on a 49ers team that has one of the best rushing schemes in the league. If Raheem Mostert misses, Wilson is a must play, but even if he can go, Wilson is getting enough work to have value in this plus matchup.
