Week 14 brought us three defenses that topped 20 fantasy points, as Daniel Jones, Nick Mullens and Cam Newton couldn’t do much of anything other than take sacks and turn the ball over.
And of course the Ravens strong defense put up negative four fantasy points against the Browns. That is a swift kick in the face to any playoff team that went with Baltimore. They almost gave up 500 yards of offense. Craziness.
The same could be said for the Saints, who have been one of the better defenses in the league. They ended up scoring negative one-point against rookie Jalen Hurts. That hurts.
Cleveland Browns at New York Giants
The Giants put up just three points against Seattle with Daniel Jones back last week. He didn’t look healthy and if they run him out there again at less than 100 percent, the Browns should be able to put up a strong showing in your fantasy playoffs.
It isn’t looking good for Matthew Stafford to play this week, which would give journeyman backup Chase Daniel the start. The Titans defense is bad, so we can’t expect huge numbers, but I don’t expect Daniel to be able to put up many points against any NFL defense.
