Wide receiver PPR rankings for Week 15 fantasy football

We take you through some of the best PPR wide receivers going in Week 15 for fantasy football, including a few viable streamers.

Friday injury report

Kenny Golladay, Michael Thomas, Deebo Samuel and Julio Jones are all out. Their absences should help Marvin Jones, T.J. Hockenson, Alvin Kamara, Emmanuel Sanders, Brandon Aiyuk, Jordan Reed, and Calvin Ridley.

DeVante Parker and Jakeem Grant are both listed as questionable, but have a chance to play against the Patriots.

Brandin Cooks has been cleared to play against the Colts. He should get plenty of work this week.

Out: Kenny Golladay (hip), Michael Thomas (ankle), Deebo Samuel (hamstring), Julio Jones (hamstring)
Doubtful: N/A
Questionable: Jamison Crowder (calf), Jakeem Grant (hamstring), DeVante Parker (hamstring), Curtis Samuel (hamstring)

Thursday injury report

Julio Jones remained out of practice. He can still play without practicing, but it would be good to see him get some work Friday.

Michael Thomas has yet to practice this week. He’ll probably need to practice Friday to be able to play.

Kenny Golladay has yet to practice and looks unlikely to play against the Titans.

Curtis Samuel was added to the injury report with a hamstring injury, but seems likely to play. But be sure to keep an eye on his status.

Deebo Samuel is likely out against Dallas. Kendrick Bourne and Brandon Aiyuk should see the top workload at wide receiver.

John Brown won’t play against the Broncos. Gabriel Davis will again get a bump in work.

DNP: Kenny Golladay (hip), A.J. Brown (ankle), Michael Thomas (ankle), Deebo Samuel (hamstring), Julio Jones (hamstring), Robert Woods (thigh)
Limited: D.J. Moore (return from Covid-IR), Curtis Samuel (hamstring), Allen Lazard (core, foot), Equanimeous St. Brown (knee), Brandin Cooks (neck), Jakeem Grant (hamstring), DeVante Parker (hamstring), Jamison Crowder (calf), Calvin Ridley (foot)
Full: Jerry Jeudy (ankle), Darnell Mooney (knee), Jarvis Landry (hip), Tyreek Hill (hamstring), Breshad Perriman (shoulder)

Wednesday injury report

Julio Jones remained out with a hamstring injury. He can play without practicing if he’s ready to go on Sunday.

Kenny Golladay remained out of practice and again looks like a long shot to play this week.

Keenan Allen is questionable to play Thursday night, but appears likely to play. Mike Williams is also questionable and may be a little iffier, but appears ready to go.

Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin and James Proche all have been put on the Covid-19 list. We don’t know if they are positive or close contact players, so it is difficult to give chances for them to play this week, but they will miss a lot of practice if they do.

Julian Edelman returned to practice and has a shot to play this week against Miami.

Devante Parker and Jakeem Grant both were able to get in a limited practice, so have a decent shot at playing.

D.J. Moore was taken off the Covid-19 list and should be able to go against the Packers.

Henry Ruggs is out Thursday night due to being on the Covid-19 list this week.

John Brown has been designated to return from I.R., so has a chance to suit up this week.

DNP: Julio Jones (hamstring), Kenny Golladay (hip), Michael Thomas (ankle), Jamison Crowder (calf)
Limited: Julian Edelman (knee), Allen Lazard (core), Equanimeous St. Brown (knee), A.J. Brown (ankle), Calvin Ridley (foot), Jakeem Grant (hamstring), DeVante Parker (hamstring)
Full: Jerry Jeudy (ankle), Tyreek Hill (hamstring)

Week 14 brought us another resurgent game from T.Y. Hilton, as he put together his third-straight big fantasy game. After his long and fruitless bulk of the season, it sure feels like he’s come out of nowhere. Of course, three straight games with 81+ yards and four total touchdowns is good enough to make him a must start against Houston, which is hurting in their secondary.

Brandon Aiyuk just keeps putting up numbers despite poor quarterback play and now with Deebo Samuel looking iffy, he should be able to see enough targets to remain a safe play. He has now topped 17 fantasy points in his last five games and topped 13 in seven of his 10 games played.

Stefon Diggs and Allen Robinson were one and two in wide receiver fantasy points last week. They have been two of the safest plays with Robinson as WR7 and Diggs as WR3 on the season and should continue to be strong plays moving forward no matter the matchup.

Injury news

Keenan Allen and Mike Williams are both dealing with back injuries and their status for Thursday night is in question. We’d expect Allen to play while Williams is a little more iffy.

Devante Parker has a hamstring injury. Jakeem Grant also has a hamstring injury, but appears unlikely to suit up against the Patriots. We’ll need to see if Parker can get any practices in this week before penciling him into fantasy lineups.

Brandin Cooks is expected to return this week to face the Colts.

Deebo Samuel will be out”a while” according to Kyle Shanahan. He’s droppable if you are still in the hunt. Kendrick Bourne has some fantasy value with Samuel out.

John Brown will return to practice this week and have a chance to play. If he does, Gabriel Davis’ fantasy upside takes a hit.

Bye weeks

None.

Streaming options

Kendrick Bourne, 49ers

The 49ers will be without Deebo Samuel, which should give Kendrick Bourne some extra work in a good matchup with the Cowboys. With Samuel out last week for most of the game, Bourne was second in targets to Brandon Aiyuk, who is a must start.

Rashard Higgins, Browns

Higgins has come on of late and led the Browns in targets and wide receiver fantasy points on Monday night. The Giants defense isn’t bad, but James Bradberry will likely spend time on Jarvis Landry, pushing more work Higgins way.
