Saturday update: As expected, Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin and James Proche have been activated from the Covid-19 list, per ESPN Field Yates. Brown makes for a good start this week against the Jaguars.
The Baltimore Ravens have placed Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin and James Proche on the Covid-19 list, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. At this point we aren’t sure which player in this wide receiver group tested positive for Covid-19, if any. With a game on Sunday, that doesn’t leave much time to be cleared for the players who are close contacts either.
The Ravens take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, which is a great matchup to not be at full strength, but the way this season has been going for Baltimore and Covid-19, we can’t be sure there won’t be anymore players added this week.
Boykin doesn’t get much use in the offense, but Brown is the Ravens No. 1 receiver, which isn’t saying all that much based on his workload, but he is their No. 1 receiver. Brown remains a strong deep threat and has two long touchdowns in his last three games.
