Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders WRs Henry Ruggs III, Nelson Agholor, Hunter Renfrow
There are clearly defined roles for these three wideouts right now. Ruggs is the pure speedster who gets a couple of shots every game to display his skills, most likely deep down the field. Renfrow is the safety valve and the guy the Raiders lean on when they need to pick up a third-down conversion. But Agholor has become the leader. He has paced this WR trio in targets in three of the past four games, racking up 35 in total. He has scored touchdowns from 17 and 21 yards out during that span and gained 100 yards versus the Colts last week.
Agholor trails only tight end Darren Waller in targets and receiving yards while each man has tallied seven receiving scores. Agholor was also the Raiders WR who had the most fantasy success against the Chargers in Week 9. He caught a 45-yard score from Derek Carr. Agholor and Renfrow each caught just two passes while Ruggs didn’t come up with any of his three targets. It won’t matter much in Week 15, as Ruggs currently sits on the Covid-IR and will be out in this game.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Agholor ($4,800) is doing enough to be a WR3 in season-long leagues this week. Renfrow ($4,000) can be ignored.
