Who’s playing college basketball today? Odds, bet splits for December 17th

Three Top 25 teams are in action on a light board this evening.

There’s just two Top 25 teams in action tonight, and we’ll see some Big East basketball in prime time for those not watching that football thing on other networks.

The No. 9 Creighton Blue Jays do battle with the rebuilding St. John’s Red Storm. This would normally be an MSG game for SJU, but it’ll be on campus at Carnasecca Arena. The team from Omaha will likely take a step back in the next poll after falling to Marquette on Monday night 89-84 at home. Junior point guard Marcus Zegarowski makes them go, and he’ll need to be better than 4-13 from the floor and 0-7 from three-point range as he was three nights ago.

And speaking of the Kansas Jayhawks, they’re in one of the better Big 12 games of the season as the No. 5 KU faces the No. 14 Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock. KU has been flawless but for a season-opening loss in Ft. Myers to No. 1 Gonzaga, going 6-0 since with wins over No. 20 Kentucky and Creighton. Rock Chalk does it with depth, but sophomore forward Jalen Wilson has been terrific with 15.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while shooting over 50% from the floor.

Remember: Everything below is indeed subject to change because it’s 2020 and there’s a global pandemic happening.
